Me and the wife intend to have a bit of a tourist session on the Saturday. Has anyone been to Stirling before? Apart from the castle (which we may save for another trip) what are the best places to visit, and do you know the best route to take to get the most out of the day? What should we be trying in terms of local gastronomic delights and a good watering hole for lunch????

Guys,
My initial canvassing survey has only been distributed today, but I'm mulling over a first event in the New Year t cahse away the Xmas and Hogmonay blues.
My initial thoughts are Sat 09 Jan in teh Dunfermline or Rosyth area, cheap accommodation shouldn't be an issue at this time.
Follow through with the survey work if you would please, but let me know your availability 9/1 if you would.

Guys - Just making a new forum topic for the Scottish based Muppets.
As more and more Scottish based ex and serving MW's are joiing the association would anyone be interested in having a monthly meet?
Some of the other regions have a monthly dit session where they meet up at the end of the month and have a few wets and spin a few dits.
